Brad Medd

For more than 25 years, Brad has built technology platforms and solutions that businesses depend on, working across financial services, healthcare, and technology before bringing that experience to insurance. As Chief Technology Officer of Zinnia, he leads the development of the platforms underpinning the company's modernization strategy, prioritizing solutions that perform reliably at scale—not simply those that look good in a demonstration.

Brad believes legacy insurance technology has long forced companies to choose between stability and speed: systems could change slowly and remain reliable, or move quickly and risk breaking. His work is focused on eliminating that tradeoff by building cloud-native, API-first platforms that enable Zinnia to deliver product changes at software speed while preserving the accuracy and reliability required of a system of record.

Before joining Zinnia, Brad served as Managing Director and Senior Vice President at IHS Markit, where he led technology transformations across asset classes ranging from leveraged loans to retail brokerage.

Brad holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Johns Hopkins University.
