Callie Thomas

Callie Thomas is Chief of Staff and Head of External Communications at Zinnia, where she partners with the senior leadership team to drive strategic initiatives, operational execution, and enterprise alignment. With more than 20 years of experience across insurance, finance, underwriting, operations, and executive leadership, Callie brings deep expertise in governance, risk management, and organizational strategy. Prior to joining Zinnia, Callie was Co-Founder and Chief Administrative Officer at Joyn Insurance, where she helped build the company from startup through rapid growth, overseeing finance, operations, compliance, and corporate governance. She also held senior leadership roles at AIG, including Chief Administrative Officer of Blackboard Insurance and Underwriting Executive for AIG's U.S. Primary Casualty business, leading strategic transformation and underwriting governance initiatives. Earlier in her career, she held finance and accounting roles at MetLife and AIG. Callie holds bachelor's degrees in Finance and Economics from the University of South Florida and maintains Property & Casualty and Surplus Lines insurance licenses.
