Callie Thomas

Callie has spent more than 25 years across insurance, finance, underwriting, operations, and executive leadership, including co-founding a company from startup through rapid growth. That range gives her a builder's perspective on what it takes to scale an organization, not just a platform.

Her view is that a technology transformation is only as strong as the governance and operational alignment behind it, the parts of the business that make sure strategic initiatives actually land across a growing, complex organization. Callie's focus at Zinnia is enterprise alignment. She makes sure the leadership team's strategic bets translate into operational execution.

Before Zinnia, Callie was Co-Founder and Chief Administrative Officer at Joyn Insurance. She also held senior roles at AIG, including Chief Administrative Officer of Blackboard Insurance and Underwriting Executive for AIG's U.S. Primary Casualty business. Earlier, she held finance and accounting roles at MetLife and AIG.

Callie holds bachelor's degrees in Finance and Economics from the University of South Florida and maintains Property & Casualty and Surplus Lines insurance licenses.
