George Esposito

George entered the role of CEO having worked in most of the seats in this industry including legal and regulatory, reinsurance, distribution, policy administration, and running a carrier. George brings a uniquely comprehensive perspective on what it takes to modernize life and annuities. From his vantage point, modern systems only matter if the market actually adopts them. That is where he is focused, which is making the case to carriers and distributors alike, then making the transition invisible to the people they serve.

His view of the next decade is clear. The industry has long designed products around what legacy administration systems could support rather than what customers needed, and even a strong product could take quarters to reach those responsible for bringing it to market. By modernizing the system of record and connecting it end to end, both constraints lift. George expects the next generation of life and annuity products to look meaningfully different from today's, with the distance between launching a product and putting it in a customer's hands to compressing from years to weeks.

Before becoming CEO, George served as EVP and Head of Insurance Platforms, Chief Administrative Officer, and General Counsel at Zinnia. Zinnia's growth over that period came through a combination of organic expansion, sustained investment in the platform, and selective acquisitions. George led the company's acquisitions, including Policygenius and Ebix's life and annuity business, and was accountable for integrating them into the business.

Prior to Zinnia, he was President and Chief Operating Officer of Everly Life Insurance Company, where he ran a direct-to-consumer life insurer end to end. Earlier he was Deputy General Counsel at Nassau Financial Group and a corporate attorney at Milbank LLP and Pepper Hamilton LLP, advising financial institutions on all forms of corporate transactions and financings.

George holds a B.A. from Boston College and a J.D. from New York Law School.
