Key Kiarie

Key built his career at the intersection of capital and technology-driven businesses, spending more than two decades across private equity, corporate finance, and investment management before becoming Zinnia's CFO. That background gives him a practical sense of what it actually takes to fund a platform business through sustained growth and acquisition.

His view is that modernizing an industry like life and annuities is a capital-intensive bet, one that only pays off with financial discipline behind the technology investment. Key's focus is on making sure Zinnia's growth, organic and acquired, is backed by financial infrastructure and capital allocation that can support the company's scale for the long run.

Before Zinnia, Key was Chief Financial Officer of Bloomberg Media. He also served as Chief Investment Officer at the Media Development Investment Fund, CFO at Revolt Media & TV, and Managing Director at Saban Capital Group, with earlier investment roles at AEA Investors and J.P. Morgan.

Key holds a B.A. in Economics from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
